The department has started to form Computer & Information technology students association CISA from the year August 2003. Since 2009 the name changed as Association of Computer Science & Engineering Students (ACSES). Aim behind this association is to carry out different activities such as software contest, paper presentation, seminars, quiz competition, group discussion, aptitude & technical test preparation etc. All the activities are arranged & carry out by the student under the guidance of faculty member.

• ENGINEER'S DAY - Quiz Competition for CSE and IT Students
• SOFTWARE CONTEST - To motivate software development skills among students
• FRESHIE'S WELCOME - To give a warm welcome to First Year CSE and IT Students
• Independence Day - TE CSE & TE IT Students arranged one cultural event with national songs, summary of national anthem, story of Indian legends & patriots who gave their whole & soul to our mother-land.

• TEACHER'S DAY - To felicitate all the faculty members from CSE and IT Department
• Computer Science and Engineering Department started C.S.I. (Computer Society of India ) Students' Chapter .
• DLUG Inauguration - DKTE Linux User Group(DLUG) had taken place. Mr. Sandeep Kumbhar from BECSE is working as chief co-coordinator for this group.
