It is a four-year degree course, Which was started from the academic year 1988-89.This programme is a blend of the areas related to electronics & computer engineering and comprises of the fields like communication engineering, video engineering, power electronics, micro-processor, digital & optical communication, electronic instrumentation. Students are also exposed to advanced subjects like fuzzy logic, neural network, image processing, computer graphics and computer programming. The department is equipped with the latest experimental and computational facilities for taking up R & D and consultancy activities in various fields. This programme also provides students to acquire the expertise to tackle engineering problems with immense confidence. The graduates are much sought after by leading Indian as well as multi-national software, electronic design and development organizations and government agencies.
