Our institute has been selected as the FOSS Node for Western Maharashtra for the development of Open Source Software. National Resource Center for Free and Open Source Software (NRCFOSS) is a national level platform to promote Free and Open Source Software in India. This project is funded by Information Technology Department, Govt. of India.
A Six days workshop was arranged on Linux, Apache, MySQL & Perl (“LAMP”) from 7th to 12th July 2008. During this workshop lectures were delivered by NRCFOSS experts on the topics like Python programming, Ruby programming. Dr. Arun Khan. Director silver Arc Solutions, Mumbai delivered lecture on security aspects under Linux environment and also sponsored two projects to our students.
